I like both of them. Composition wise they are both very good as you get your message across. I've been an artist for about 15 years on and off. If you want a really good critique, and to see what other artists are up to check out wetcanvas.com. It is a great learning place some of the best artists in the world belong to this site. I have learned so much there that I have re-newed my interest in painting.

It's weak. It lacks an interesting subject and has neither depth nor is well-executed enough to actually be considered flat. Try using more than three colours and then mixing them.

PS. I've owned a gallery, and you also need to learn how to take a better photograph of your work.

As an art teacher... it is technically done well, good use of colors, but a bit boring, there is no excitement. It seems to be more along Cezannes view of painting, it was an emotion you felt (saw thought etc) and you painted it. I wonder what those who were more philosophical would think about it? :)

I like it! I'm a big fan of surrealist painting, I really like Rene Magritte. Keep up the good work. Like the sentiments too. We should make this world a better place mate, we might need a lot of good luck though!
Cheers.

I found it interesting, a mix of Eastern yoga pose and the erotic. I suggest a bit more suggestion that the arms really are there and out of sight, rather then ending abruptly at the elbow.

It's back,
You should call it the Gazza Strip

It does not lack depth, The dude in her head is an idea, or should I say, Ideal

i think its cool looking. i really like how the sky and moon look. i also think it is funny that the person has fish nets on... :)

i do think i would like it better, however, if the line of her spin did not have the v shape at the top. other than that its good

Well, I can see you have talent. This painting seems to fall in the erotika and somewhat abstract category!

So it's an armless naked monk who is wearing fishnet stockings? That's gotta have some kind of meaning to it.
