The last decade was the "nineties" and the one before that the "eighties". How exactly is society going to pronounce the "00's"?

P-rent is right, but it is spelled "aughts". Aught is old English for zero.

2010's (reported twenty-tens or 2-thousand & tens). EDIT - Why the thumb-down? there isn't any valid call for this decade. maximum folk in my adventure merely call it the twenty-tens or 2-thousand & tens. <_<
