You shouldn't feel guilty. Just do a good job of raising your daughter. Teach her and coach her so she will have a good life. Also, do things like cooking meals and cleaning the house. Its as important as working to get money, maybe more important.

I don't think it is wrong as long as you are doing everything a "stay at home mom" would and should be doing. Cook, clean...whatever else. You should ask your girlfriend this question and see what she says and whether or not she is comfortable in her "role." Maybe you can find something part-time while your daughter is in school? Or after your girl gets home? I'm sure your girlfriend needs some space if you are home all the time.

don't feel guilty, your taking care of a kid which is pretty much working, but you should clean the house so she isn't tired and hafta work more when she comes home, she'll appriciate it alot!
Just remember some people think it's the man's job to go out and work while the women stays home BUT thats in the old days, now it's just whatever the couple feels like doing!
cheer up! your helping by taking care of your daughter!

If it's not wrong for a woman, then why would it be wrong for a man? Haven't you ever heard, "what's good for the goose is good for the gander?" Do what you can to get a job and stay busy--feeling guilty is not going to make you a better father, boyfriend, employee, or person in general. Ditch the guilt and do the best you can to be a good father and housekeeper.

You shouldn't. Staying at home and taking care of a kid is a job too. Both the outside and inside jobs need to be done and you guys have worked out to do it this way. Nothing to feel guilty about.

As long as both of you are OK with it and you do about 80% of the household chores then I don't see a problem. The only reason you feel guilty is because of stereotyping. A man isn't a man unless he's the one providing for his family. It's a bunch of BS.

My mom worked 2 jobs, while my dad went to school, because my dad's job didn't pay much and both my mom's jobs were at the same airport so she didnt need the car. SO, my dad went to school & worked. Now my Dad works and my mom stays home. The point is as long as one hand washes the other it's fine. Although in my raising, men are the breadwinners.

How does she feel about the situation? If it's not a problem with her then why not? But continue to look for employment and help around the house.

it's okay. in fact it's great that you love staying with your daughter a lot of men don't feel the need to spend time with their kids. if it'll make you feel better ask your girlfriend if there is anything else you can do for her other than just staying at home w/ your daughter.
