Why do women get so upset when a man leaves the toilet seat up but men don't get upset when we leave the seat down. If they leave it up we have to put it down and if we leave it down they have to put it up. So we all have to touch the nasty thing. As a women I have never understood this or got mad at a man for leaving it up.

Don't guys lift the seat as a curtousy any way so they get it in the toilet not on the seat. So they are being gentalmenly by raising it. And we also want them to lower it why can't we do something for men like raise it when we are done. I am sure they hate going to the bathroom in the middle of the night and having to raise the seat

Yes i have got up in the middle of the night and had someone leave the seat up. I have never hit the water with pee in it because my man and boys flush (thats a whole different tpic)

NO WAY!!!! Finally an inelegant woman with intelligent philosophy. I DO NOT MEAN THE QUESTION MATTER... I mean the way you looked at things from a complete and total unselfish point of view. I think that if more women would try this out, the divorce rate in the US would drop dramaticlly!!! Not because you understand what men cant express at the time a woman is ragging him out for leaving the toilet seat up, but because you are willing to think outside the box!!! It shouldn't be a huge issue but I'm a guy and i understand that it is common courtesy to put the seat down for a women because when they take a leak they have to sit down and we don't. And yes in the middle of the night it is quite common for a female to assume the seat is already down and get her butt all wet. It's not brain surgery, i can't see how you never understood that.

Oh I have two boys under the age of 8 yrs old and I can't stand it when they leave the seat up. You can't tell me that when you get up to go to the bathroom at 4 oclock in the morning and since your mostly asleep and then you just sit down....and then wham...your awake because your A$$ just sat on the cold pissy toliet. Tell me this hasn't happened to you!!!!!

because a toilet seat is designed to be down so if the man was a gentleman he would return it to it's natural state

That's a good ?. I always thought cuz we have to sit down and if it's not there we fall in, but guys stand up so they can just see it and don't have to worry bout falling in. I'm not real sure

cause when you are just getting home from work..and you are unzipping your pants as you run in the ouse..and rush to the bathroom..to plop that a&& down..and you hit the water you would understand and be pissed too...

Well it depends on the person, if they are a pre madonna them yes they would get mad, otherwise it is kinda gross.
