I was just wondering, because I read that sunlight helps your body produce vitamin D or something?

Sunlight does help the body produce vitamin D...however I've heard no reports of an increase in height due to sun exposure...sorry...

But swimming during the growth-age does makes some deference. You are always stretching.

Swinging from a bar, also does same thing.

I would suggest you not to stay too close to the sun for too long; for it can produce skin cancer, and you will not want to have it.
