My ex broke up with me about 3 weeks ago & I really want him back. Since then...he has continued to initiate contact with me. I have been nice & responsive, but vague. Last Sat., he sent me an email asking what was going on. I responded a few hours later & said that I was heading out for the night, but we should get together soon for lunch/dinner. He emailed me yesterday & said he'd love to get together for lunch this week & asked me what my schedule looked like. I told him that it was going to be tough for me to get away for lunch this week, but perhaps we could get together after work & suggested Wednesday (tomorrow). I sent it at 4:15 pm yesterday & haven't heard back from him. I know he got the email & he's in IT, so it's not like he's not at his computer all day. Do you think that this is a bad sign that I haven't heard from him yet...considering we're supposed to meet tomorrow? Is he having second thoughts?? Do you think he'll just call instead of responding by email?

Why do you want someone back who broke up with you? He told you he didnt want to be with you (the breaking up part) and you still want to see him? He's just gonna use you as a back up. String you along until something better comes along. Go out and get someone who wants to be with you!

Odds are he is seeing someone else. He probably was willing to do the lunch thing but isn't able to do the after work thing because he is supposed to be with her. He is staying in contact with you and being all nice and friendly so that he has a backup in case things don't work out between him and this other girl. Sure, that is just a guess but I'm probably right.

You say you want him back but jerk him around by being vague. Maybe he's playing you the same way. Just be direct and tell him what's on your mind. If he's mature at all, he'll be direct and you'll know what's up. Call him and settle the thing.

Don't panic...remember he's your ex and for whatever reason you had moved on.....So now he's back...Girl,,,, start seeing other people don't just fall back. Only you know if he is worth it, maybe by seeing others you will know for sure. Oh Don't call he'll call back if he wants you. If you can't help yourself and call be cool and show no signs of desperation

Since you two are not together, I would treat this as a casual thing. If he calls, he calls....if he doesn't, so what. You are not with him, so don't take him asking you to go out, and not confirm anything so seriously.

it looks like hes just being nice and doesnt want to hurt u..he broke up with u 3 weeks ago...u dont want him back ..he should b on his knees looking up to u and begging u to take him back but hes not? dont call him or e-mail him back.."u never know what u had until its gone" so poof dissapear for awhile and make him realize it!

well,it is just a matter of hours or day that yr email being sent to him,maybe he is busy at work to respond.be positive abt things in life & you can also call him directly to findout abt his well being & appointment.
