It is a bad idea. 14 is too young to have any job. Check you local child labor laws.

If the kid is responsible it shouldn't be a problem i did it @ 13 and had a great time and learned a lot about diffrent kinds of people it wasn't a family establishment but i knew the owner. in Ga you can't serve alchohol until ur 18 so i just got one of the girls to run by beer 4 me n it wasn't a big deal. course we sipped the leftovers but the boss would have freaked had she known

i would jump at it,i had 2 jobs by the time i was 14,but the waiting one was the best- TIPS!!!!!!!!
