Time.
More importantly, spending time on myself and with myself. I went to the gym and worked out until I cleared my mind. That time by myself helped me sort out my troubles and the action of working out helped me feel better about myself, which always helps you combat the feeling of self-blame you feel for any sort of pain or hurt.

Grounding the pain into the earth and realizing that the Gods will dispense justice as They see fit.
You can't change the past, and holding onto hurt and pain and grudges only hurts myself and fills my life with negativity. The people who did the hurting don't care... so what's the point in nursing a grudge? Learn from the experience and move forward.

I like to go to the driving range and hit a few balls!
then I will talk to the person and come to a point of agreement. I will forgive, but may not reconcile! depends on the outcome of our discussion. The Biblical law says restitution is a viable request. You can find a way for your betrayer to make restitution. If they are willing, than do it!

Think of the bad things that your partner has done to you to see that you dont deserve being hurt and being betrayed. If youneed to cry, cry to your heart content as crying is a coping mechanism. Dont let anger creep into your heart and head as this hurt is what will continue to tie you to your partner. It is hard to let go of pain , but time heals all wound no matter how long and hard it would be

Prayer, and talking with friends or others who are supportive. There really is no such thing as forgive and forget. We can forgive, but sometimes it takes a long time, and many decisions to choose to let go of that pain and hurt.

I had to forgive. Trust me it can be the hardest thing to do sometimes, but it's the only way to make the hurt go away. In my case I needed God's help to forgive, so I asked Him for it and He did it. When you trust Him, He always takes care of everything.

Find something to fixate on. As long as the center of your mind is hurt that is where you will live. Find something positive to focus on. You will forget about the hurt and over time you will forget about how the hurt hurt.

I remind myself that the one I feel has hurt me is hurting too. If they were happy they wouldn't have had the need to hurt someone else. Meaness is usually hurt and fear with a mask over it. I hope this helps.

I wish I knew. I'm feeling a lot of it right now. What kind of just and loving God makes gay people only to have them ridiculed and hated all their life by his very followers? I feel hurt and betrayed and lied to.

Casting all your cares upon God for he cares for you. God is the only one who can heal a broken heart. He is mindful of you, and longs for you to come to him with all your hurt and pain and lay it down at His feet
