Me and my ex split up becuase the military base we were stationed on closed so i move to england and she moved to virginia. she says she still loves me to her friends, but whenever i ask her she says idk, and her avatar which always says i love you, or cant stop thinking about you, on and on......, but i really love her, and wan tto have a long distance relationship, but she says she went through this before and she got hurt last time and doesnt want to get hurt again, ive been waiting and trying again two months after we split up, wouldnt that prove how much i want to be with her? Or is there anything else i can do but move on?

Are you out of the Military now?? If so, why don't you move to virginia to be with her if you are sure she still loves you!

If she doesn't want a long-distance relationship, don't force it.
Don't prove yourself to her at all. I would understand that she may love you AS A FRIEND, but that may be all. There's no shame in realizing that she's not going your future wife.
Listen to what is going on. Don't fool yourself into thinking that "if only I ________, she would love me again!" It doesn't work like that.
In other words...move on. Keep her as friends and learn to be happy for only friendship.
