highlights or no highlights. what looks good?

i have long black curly hair and a nice tan face. should i get brown highlights or no i like my hair

If you like your hair, leave it alone. Highlights will dry it out and cause major damage if done to often. If you could see my hair, you wouldn't even think about highlights. :)

Maybe if you had brown hair with highlights but not brown highlights with fully black hair

I don't think curly hair looks good with highlights. It makes it look a little spotty. If you do insist on getting them, go to a salon. If you do it on yourself and you have curly, black hair, it will turn out disastrous.

Highlights could add another dimension to it so why not? Try anything once, that's what I say. But get it done professionally though.

probably not because when the roots come back it will look bad but you could try a dye that isnt permanent. [e-mail]
