I have a bishon and she is very stubborn. This may sound harsh but we had to use a rolled up newspaper when we were training her. I'm not saying beat her with it. But be firm, show her the newspaper and tell her no. If this doesn't work hit the paper in the palm of your hand and tell her no, usually this noise will scare her and she will get the idea. If she doesn't, lightly hit her on the butt with the paper and tell her no again, Be firm and she should stop. There is always the option of "time out". Like we keep our puppy in the bathroom at night if he misbehaves we put him in there and shut the door for a little while. If it cries ignore them, or they will cry every time you punish them. Puppies are like children you have to set rules for them and have punishments for them when they misbehave. It is easier to set these rules while they are young. Have you heard the saying you can't teach an old dog new tricks? It's even harder to train an older dog to behave the way you expect them to. Like a child they may pout for a few minutes but they will still love you.

Keep telling her no firmly when she tries to bite your shoes. If she's doing it when you're not wearing the shoes, put them up out of reach. Either way, try getting her some safe chewing toys and she'll be able to concentrate on those more, hopefully.

Your puppy is probably too young to understand what "no" means, but if you say it over and over enough and use some kind of enforcement such as a rolled up newspaper, hitting the dog just hard enough to get its attention not hard enough to hurt the dog. After awhile all you will have to do is pick up the newspaper to get results. Repetition is the key to training dogs. Saying no, then the swat with the paper has never failed for me.

Your puppy is teething and needs something to chew to break inthose new teethies. Give her lots of rawhides and coat your shoes with a mild detergent. That should do the trick. Good luck

Put all your good shoes in a basket in the cupboard, she cant chew them if she cant get to them.
If you harp on No!No! Blah Bla Bla,She`ll just start to be scared of you.
Give her 2 ove your old ugly shoes you`d not be needing any more and soon enough she`ll think, bugger this, these shoes are boring now,i`m sick ove shoes,Good luck Monty.
