Darwin says that I came from some primordial soup and I am a complete accident with no purpose.
Even if there was some primordial soup, what created the soup. O.K say there were a bunch of gasses that collided and created the big bang, how did the gasses get there to even bang.
So, even if some how, some way the gasses magically formed and banged. What do you know that has been formed from an explosion. Nothing, explosions are destructive rather than constructive. That's why we use them to tear down old buildings in stead of trying to use TNT to build a new building.
Then you look at the details of the earth. Did you know if the earth were any closer to the moon the tides would be too strong for ocean to sustain life. The earth is at a perfect tilt. We are at the perfect distance from the sun. You can go on and on and on. There is no way by accident that all the pieces of the puzzle could just magically work themselves out.
When I look at it that way, the odds make it very easy to believe in a creator God.
Then when I realize that not only is there a God, but there is a God who created me for a purpose and a plan. This is the one thing that gives me joy.

I'm agnostic and at this point fall on the skeptical side. I guess I'm not big on the blind faith thing, I disagree with the person who said there is so much proof. What proof? War, disease, crime, famine, lack of answered prayers, dying children, Biblical inaccuracy, forgeries, and contradiction, people who use their faith to justify persecuting others and denying scientific advances? Yes, I am familar with the apologist responses to all this, they sound to me just like what they are, apologetic excuses for the implausiblity of it all. Since I left religion I continue to be a happy and well adjusted person and I have a great life. I feel now like a more honest person and the ball is in my court. If I am unhappy its up to me to look at my life choices and what I can do to change things. It also makes me feel more empowered about making the world a better place. I think only you can decide on what you believe though. Following what others tell you will not lead to happiness. If you are a fact seeking person like me you can read on a variety of sources both pro and con and examine it critically for yourself.

I believe in the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. I know God is real because I have Him in my heart and my Holy Bible tells me He is real. "For GOD so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not parish but have everlasting life" John 3:16

I believe in God. Look around you. This world didn't appear out of the blue. The sun goes down, the moon rises, the stars shine. Winter comes, snow falls, leaves change color. The cycle repeats. Someone did all this. And us? We're perfect. Who created us? God did.

God seems to be something of a hair-trigger word around here.
If you admit to believing in God, all the atheists will tear their hair and scream and call you names.
If you admit to believing in something that is part Tao, part Brahman, part Buddhahood, the atheists just scratch their heads and wonder what you are talking about.
