Salvation doesnt rid you of sinful behavior, however mostly everyone goes through a change after they recieve Salvation. Ive been saved for about 3 years, I still sin... some sins I stopped some I didn't, some I'll be able to stop as I grow but I will never be without sin while in the flesh.

immediately. If you relate salvation to baptism the second the crowd starts clapping and your focus moves from God to yourself you have sinned. On the other hand, salvation never wears off but is renewed constantly according to the scriptures.

Anywhere from 1 second to 1 hour to 1 day to a week at most.

Lucky for us, salvation isn't secured by our ability to continually live in gratitude of it.

Rather, it was secured before the dawn of creation by the only One capable of securing those He created in the first place.

Humans are sinners, and will always be sinners, even after we're saved. But that's the whole point- knowing that you're saved, that Jesus died for you, cleanses you of those sins, and gives you the strength to sin less and less as time goes by.

Maybe like 10 minutes. For me, it was a few minutes after the beginning of the ceremony when I said, G-dam this stupid ceremony is long. Ooops.

Being a faithful Christian puts you in the line of fire from the whole world. We are in Spiritual Warfare---on a daily basis. The world hates us because it first hated God.

Thank you for your wonderful, uplifting spirit.

For those who will, no doubt, insult and persecute you for your question and comments, I would add this to our Brothers and Sisters in Christ.

To all the faithful who read questions or answers to our questions relative to our faith in Jesus Christ, that do nothing but mock God and assault the Word of God:

"Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you for My sake. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven. They persecuted the prophets before you in the same way."
Matthew 5:11-12

"If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you."
1st Peter 4:14

"Hear me, you who know what is right; you people who have my law in your hearts: Do not fear the reproach of men or be terrified by their insults." Isaiah 51:7

"You will be protected from the lash of the tonge, and need not fear when destruction comes to them." Job 5:21

about 5 minutes but it does not matter because, according to my Evangelical friend, saved people are forgiven for all their past, present or future sins unless they convert to Catholicism, Jehovah's Witness or Mormonism.
