I heard that insects are present in a lot of foods because they get ground up and stuff and few people realize that they are eating them.

So yes.

Yes.
Lobsters, shrimp, grasshoppers while in the army. Probably mites by the thousands over the years. Bees and wasps accidentally while riding my bike.

"EATING INSECTS!" That's right! Entomophagy is eating insects and in the U.S., it's predicted that you'll eat as much as 1 pound of insects in your lifetime - by accident, of course.

That's because insects and parts of insects are impossible to eliminate completely in modern food harvesting and processing. Consequently, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration allows a certain amount of bugs and bug parts in your processed food. So one way or the other, we've all eaten insects.

Yes. In some pathfinder and survival schools in the army you are forced to learn what insects you can safely eat and not eat to survive on if you are stranded somewhere. So let alone do they show you what to eat and not eat they force you to try them. Most of them raw but you can cook some. Forced to eat a lot of things other than just insects and like everyone else when on a bike or motorcycle but not to live off of like in the army.

A human being will eat an average of 12 spiders over the course of his/her lifetime simply by leaving their mouth open while sleeping. So, even if someone says "No way! Never!", they probably have anyway.

I did eat aphids in junior high, they were tastless. Other than that, I would only do so if I was stranded on a remote island or lost in the woods.

I'd be interested in seeing your truth on this.

Yes, but only on accident. A fly fell in my drink and I didn't find out until I had put it in my mouth.

Yuck!
