I suddenly have no motivation to do anything, not even eat, Im very stressed when my phone rings and i can see it is my friends calling, i feel awkward around my family, job, and find myself not thinking about anything positive or getting anything done in my life. I honestly woke up one day and realized everything is worthless, and I am worthless, whats the point? I feel s overwhelmed by my negative thoughts and anxiety to speak to people. Its really consuming me and making me miserable. I am religious but I dont really know how to speak to god. I dont really want to speak to any of my friends because Im afraid they will but in with their own bullshit, and not really give me anything valuble to work with. Does this happen often, and if so, how do I get over it its been 6 months now, and I cant have this continue because of obvious reasons.

It is depression. The negative thoughts on your mind are a result of events happening around you-- any deaths, break-ups, troubles, health, etc. First you have to find the problem, them approach them openly.
1. Treat yourself to a vacation... somewhere warm, it relieves stress
2. Hobby? Read a good book, see a movie (Pirates of the Caribbean 2 ^_^), cook, swim, fish, hike, etc--- something that is fun!
3. Take a break from family, friends, get some fresh air
Everyone goes through this at one point or another...
This year, school was SO hard and challenging, but I didn't give up, and it came with good results! ^_^
Good luck!
Address the problem!

I'm surprised no one has said this, but go to therapy. That's what I did. I felt just like you for years and years, and in fact I was in therapy for about 3 1/2 years. It was the best thing I've ever done, but you have to be 100% open and honest with your therapist, you have to give therapy your all, which you will if you really want to get to feeling better. Also, therapy alone isn't enough, you have to take steps to make your situation better, but therapy will start you down the right path and will support you when you get there. You might be surprised...I didn't want to go into therapy at first, but after about 6 months of it I didn't want to quit...didn't think I could. I really feel that's the best thing you could do. Good Luck!

I think you should speak to a doctor, there could be a physiological cause for this feeling. If not then counseling with a professional is needed. Have you tried talking to your parents?
you are not worthless, you just need a little help. This too shall pass. God Bless.

Find someone in reality...that you admire. Find out what you like about this person and realize that you have the ability to GET THERE!!! Get off your butt, or find someone who will help you (the military is a great motivator). They will give you self confidence and enable you to accomplish anything...if you are willing to WORK for it. That's the key. How much do you really want it???

See your doctor and repeat the symptoms. There is no shame in paying attention to your health.

It sounds like you need to "up" the seratonin level, in your brain. There's a med out there, that can help.
