Have Israelis learned nothing from history?

Attacks aganst defenceless minorities, expansive millitary operations and disregarding the international community? What else have Jews forgotten about Hitler and the Nazi regime? This isnt a film real people are dying. George Bush has learned nothing from Katrina either. Tony Blair is his poodle. I am ashamed to be British.

They have not only failed to learn from past history, they have failed to learn anything from recent history. They have invaded Lebanon at leat 5 times since 1978. After 1978 the Lebanese formed Hezbollah to defend themselves, and Hezbollah has emerged stronger after each successive invasion

You have more to be ashamed of than being British, it is the least of your problems. To compare the Israelis to the Nazis is just plain foolishness. The Nazis were never attacked on their homeland, their soldiers were not killed & kidnapped.

Lebanon is not the poor defenseless, they welcomed the Hezbollah into their homeland & now they pay the price.
They continue to stay in harms way with them, if the al Queda was in the southern part of the USA, I would be in the North west part, but the Lebanese try to protect them as shields including helping them move northward during cease fire. If you lie down with snakes, you will get bit. Lebanon is being bit now.

You should be proud. The British, under Winston Churchill, are the ones who trained and led the "Jewish Brigade" in battle against the Germans in Italy toward the end of WWII, at the request of David ben Gurion. Ben Gurion knew that when the Nazis were defeated, he would need a competent military force of his own people to stand up against the hatred and military might of others in the middle east. You need to get your head put on straight.

Tell Hezbollah to stop hiding amongst innocent civilians and then we wouldn't have attacks against defenseless minorities. In 2004, the UN passed resolution 1559 which called for the disarming of Hezbollah. Since that time, Hezbollah has not only not disarmed they have been stockpiling weapons to use against Israel. Lebanon refused to do anything about it, in the hopes of avoiding a civil war. The UN refused to enforce their own resolution. So, whose left to enforce the resolution and to protect Israeli citizens from rocket attacks? Israel. As long as Lebanon allows Hezbollah to live amongst its civilians, innocent people will unfortunately die.

the six day war, Israel had to throw the first punch because th egyptians were massing for a n attack

the yom kippur war, israel was attacked and almost annihilated by combined arab armies. it was a surprise attack

war of indepedence, israel had to fight against 5 established arab armies. arab milita killed and mutilated israelis they have killed

israels invasion of lebanon, they weere forced to do this nbecase arafat was using the golan heights to lob rockets into israel

all these times, the arab armies were routed. Israel has always wanted peace and just to be left alone, but you got fuckwits like mahmoud abimotherfuckingwhatshisname saying israel must be elimitated.

If people said such stuff about me and was openly hostile towards me, you can be sure i will rise up and fight to protect my family and country

Obviously a Brit can't be expected to understand US Federal Law with regard to evacuations, and federal disasters...so I won't hold that against you.

The Jews haven't forgotten anything, nor are they committing genocide. What is happening in the mid east is part of a conflict that has been going on for generations.

I think they learned that if they do everything the armchair quarterbacks tell them to do, they will still be hunted down like vermin a killed. I think they learned that the only way to win against a determined enemy is to fight harder and smarter than the enemy. I think they learned that YOUR opinion doesn't count when it's THEIR butt on the line. I think they learned that their are people in this world that will not be appeased, but just want to murder, and will continue to do so until stopped by their own death. I think they have learned that giving up and giving in just empowers the evil, and that the evil megolomaniacal Islamo-Fascists will murder each other if they run out of people like you to kill after they run out of people like Israelis to kill. I think they learned that YOUR opinion will count more if you haul your happy little judgemental butt over there and set up a home in Israel and raise your children there and see how you like the Islamo-Fascists when it's your house getting blown up, and your daughters getting raped, and your existence that is really decidedly offensive to the other guys.

How can they learn something when they have no mind!!! Israelis are having the chance to destroy arabs just for one reason - America!!! Since America supports them, aids them, loads them by weopons of mass destruction, Israel will have the free will to kill any one!!! If america happens to be strict on Israel and show good example to its parter, Britain, Instead of going and invading countries with the reason "to fight terrorism" which is a damn lie, the world would have been in peace. Now look at the world; Only Israel (in lebanon and palestine), Britain and America (in Iraq) are at war, invading countries etc. and the rest of the world is at peace (exception of somalia, but this is just a simple fight, and is about to cease now). Eritrea and Ethiopia might have a rivalary because of the border, but since they know the meaning and cost of life, they ceased war. You know, if America would have been concered in Eritrea and Ethiopia's fight, the rivalary would have stopped now and the border would have been demarcrated but what it does is increase rivalary. America just blames the terrorists for everything. Terrorists wouldn't have been created if America and Israel stopped brutilising Arabs. I dont support terrorists (I HATE THEM) but as O. They probably can use our weapons a little better, so maybe its good live training. With a free ride from US they are just seeing it through. If the Israelis really cared about anything towards working for ultimate peace, they would not be doing what they are doing.
