If this guy was truly the right one for you, you would feel comfortable in this fact and not feel any need to date anyone else. If you find yourself wanting to see other people maybe you don't love him as much as you thought.... Rather, it's possible you are more in love with the idea of having a comfortable relationship than you are with him. If your having any doubts you need to see other people. You owe it to yourself to find out what else is out there. This is not to say you and your boyfriend's relationship has to end for good. Actually these new experiences could make you and your boyfriend more aware of how good your relationship was, strengthening it if you ever got back together. Best of luck.

You need to be absolutely honest and completely open with him.
Express to him how you're feeling and how much you love him.
Explain why you need to see other people.
Mention your desire to remain friends and maybe possibly have a relationship again in the future.
This is not an uncommon feeling, especially if he's all you've had and you shouldn't feel guilty in any way or ashamed.
You don't yet know yourself or what you're looking for. He will understand how important that is for you to make the right decision and hopefully he will support you.

I agree with the first answer. If you LOVE someone you naturally wouldnt have the desire to ''date other people''. Question yourself, what is it, in your opinion that makes you want to date others? What makes you think you are even able to date others? How would you feel if he wanted to date other people besides you? Maybe you really dont love him afterall and something else is making you say that you do when theres a possibility that you dont. Ask yourself.

I am not sure if you can be in love with someone and want to be with other people at the same time, but you should probably take a break from your relationship. If you are meant to be together then you will be, but if you disrespect him by cheating and he finds out then you will most likely lose him anyways.

If you really need to date other people then you only like him, not love him. If you love him then you shouldn't have any desire or care to be with anyone else. There is nothing wrong with falling in love with one person and only being with that person. Ultimately isn't that the fairytale most wish for?

If you are having these feelings than I think you should tell him that you need a break!! I know it sounds awful and you may be scared to leave him but trust me time apart in a relationship will make it stronger or if you weren't meant to be together show you that you deserve better!! I did the same thing with my girlfriend of 3 years!!! I found someone you treated me better and was better looking!!!!!!!!!!!!1

That doesn't make much sense. Unless you mean you just want to have sex with other people, in which case you need to have a long long talk with your boyfriend.
And remember that in most cases, if you sleep around on your boyfriend, he will leave you. And all your love will go right down the drain.

If you cheat on him, you don't truly love him and decrease your self respect by a considerable amount. If you do, frankly, he deserves way better. Be honest and let him go if you are unsure.
