The only evildoers I would punish would be those who have remorse.
Anyone who can stand by their actions and take responsibility is honorable and trustworthy. They are enlightened.
Those who have remorse are weak because they acted without righteous intent. A weak man will do anything and cannot be trusted.

Actually, I wouldn't punish anyone, but some people would be overlooked when I handed out invitations to my party.

God does NOT send anyone to hell.

The people who end up in hell send themselves there because they reject the One who came to save us from our sins. It certainly isn't our remorse that saves us.

Just think about it. There won't be anybody in hell who sincerely wanted to be with the uncreated Creator of the universe.

It sounds liike you have been listening to too many people who don't have any idea what they are talking about.

Why not take time to listen to God speaking through His Word - the Holy Bible - from Genesis to Revelation. I recommend a Bible like The Daily Walk Bible because it breaks the Scripture into daily readings so one can read the entire Bible over the course of one year. It gives a bit of information to help you understand each day's reading.

When I read The Daily Walk Bible for the first time during a very bad time of my life, I couldn't put it down because it was so good. I finished reading it in 90 days. It was the best thing I've ever done in my life and it gets better each time I read it.

God is good ALL of the time. Mankind has its good moments BUT ... I used to think of how I would handle things if I were in God's shoes but I got to the end of myself and that is the very best place to get to. God is worthy of my trust.

I can hardly answer what I would do, not being God myself or even a fraction of His wisdom, but...

My understanding of Hell is beyond the literal interpretations of fire, brimstone, and gnashing of teeth. To read Jesus' teachings, the most significant aspect is eternal separation from God. This seems fitting, by the way, for those who show no remorse for their evil and therefore reject God themselves. But it IS harsh.

It seems to me we take a lot for granted in our lives. The scientific principle of entropy supports the thought that life in general should be one colossal mess, when in reality it is remarkably well organized, despite what our own sinful acts (hate, abuse, etc.) have done to mar it. Imagine a life outside of the hand of God. Utter chaos in immortality. Yikes.

Hell is not cruel. Hell or hades is only the grave. It is not a horrible place. Hell is temporary, for God's Son Jesus is going to resurrect those who are in hell. Revelation tells us that Jesus has the keys to hell, meaning he will open the graves of those who have fallen asleep in death to be reunited with their families and loved ones. [ Revelation 1:18 ]
Revelation 20:13,14 tells us also__" And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
We can see here that hell delivers up its dead and then they are judged. Hell and death are then destroyed forever. This will be a wonderful time--no more death and no more graves.
The Bible tells us that the dead cannot feel anything. " For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing--
Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest."Ecclesiastes 9:5,10
This knowledge brings us closer to the God who gave us life if we know that he does not torture anyone. If someone burned or tortured someone close to you for a long time, how would you feel about that person? Would you respect them or want to be close to them? Satan loves it when the churches of Christendom make God out to be so terrible and sadistic. When the Bible tells us that God is love, that is what it means. The resurrection of those who have fallen asleep in death is a wonderful act of love from a Creator who cares about all of us.
Yes, all people good and bad go to the Bible "hell". God's Word says that even Jesus himself was in hell (the grave) for 3 days and was then resurrected to heaven by his Father.
According to the Scriptures, the wages sin pays is death, not torment forever.

I think hell is very appropriate. He warns us over and over of the consequences and many choose to ignore them, so why should they not go to hell. I try to spread the word, but am always put down. And the thing of it is, God is going to remember this on Judgement Day. I am not saying I am better than anyone, but if I were you scoffers and non-believers, I would be looking into being buried in flame retardant suits.

Mercy? Put it to a vote, perhapse?? A ten step reform program??? Hell, I don't know.

I will say this, though, as bad as Hell must be, I'd imagine that there must be at least a handfull of people that wouldn't leave for anything.
