this is a serious question, and don't want to offend anybody, I just want to know before I start hating americans, because actually I don't, my brother in law is pure PURE american, and he's the best, but I've been reading some questions and answers from mimilgrunden, princess, and sometimes it seems that they don't like mexicans, not because they enter their country illegally, but because they are latin, or I dont know why... so the TRUTH... is it just because they are illegally over there, and all the problems you say they cause, taking "your" jobs, etc. or is it because you are kind of racist, because you just can't stand brunnetes, more dark skin, different customs, etc. Because I was surprised to enter princess page and she has a lot of foreign friends, actually some that look like latin, so I was wondering because maybe I'm wrong, and mimilgrunden, and other against illegal imm. do have friends with mexican background and they are only defending legality in their country...

AMG503: I don't really know what his family backround is, I just said it because he is blonde, BLONDE, blue eyes, very tall... the typical american.. he married my sister who is mexican, raised in mexico, they met in France... and he's the best! that's why I get surprised with some answers from americans in here, regarding immigrants...

gokart121: I agree with you that what illegal immingrants did, about waving our flag in your country, and don't want to learn the language is wrong, I also think that if you go to other country you try to learn their language, etc. BUT you must accept that many of you did also wrong becuase I saw in TV that some people were putting on fire our flag... Also, the US is having economic troubles, not only because of mexican immigrants, the truth is you've been having a lot of troubles with many contries, unfortunatelly, and also this is a globalized world, fortunatelly or unfortunatelly, so all countries have to work with their neighbors and other countries to get the economy going, when countries shut down, on time, they become poor and more poor, if not, see Cuba...

Princess: I cannot e-mail you, I tried but it says I have to enable my mail, I did it, and still can't, I dont know if I have to show my e-mail also, I don't mind give it to you or the people I choose, but I don't want anyone that I don't want to do it. Also I'm at work! I just read and answer when I give myself a break, that's why I'm at level 1.. but yes! it's me bella.. ;).. why my interest in you and mimilgrunden? because accidently I started reading answers to a question and both of you, sometimes, have made fun of immigrants, specifically mexicans, so at first I was angry, hate people who don't accept other cultures, don't understand at all racism, but then I entered your page, and surprise! you have LOTS of foreign friends, so that's what made me wonder...

I am against ILLEGAL immigration, no matter what country the person is from, or what race they are. Too many people are so quick to play the race card these days, and not just about immigration issues. I have nothing against Hispanic people, or any other people. Everyone is sounding racist against Mexicans because they're predominantly the ones who are here illegally. People just seem to forget that there are illegal immigrants here from other countries. But they are here. I worked in an immigration office for a while, so I know for a fact that Mexicans aren't the only ones that are breaking our immigration laws. But it's mostly the Mexicans that the media is covering, especially when illegal Mexican immigrants have demonstrations in our streets and wave their flag while burning ours. Those people should have been rounded up and deported immediately. It's mostly the Mexicans who refuse to learn to speak English, and expect us all to speak Spanish. Immigrants are expected to assimilate into the country that they're moving to. Not just here, but everywhere. It's not unreasonable that we want people to learn English to live here. I'm sure you would be expected to learn Italian if you decided to emigrate to Italy, French if you were moving to France, etc... If a person or family is trying to enter the U.S. legally, then I have nothing against them. I participated in many Naturalization ceremonies during my time at the immigration office, and met many wonderful people who worked so hard to become American Citizens. It was so touching, seeing all those people taking the Oath of Naturalization.

Oath of Allegiance--for people becoming U.S. Citizens

I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen; that I will support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I will bear arms on behalf of the United States when required by law; that I will perform noncombatant service in the Armed Forces of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform work of national importance under civilian direction when required by the law; and that I take this obligation freely without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; so help me God

well, one thing you'll find in the latino community is a lot of empathy/sympathy for their erstwhile countrymen/women. You can't fault em for that, but there does come a line of demarcation eventually, the division between the two countries that does exist,
a border joins us, so to speak, and there is great pressure to gain the most benefit possible for Mexico from our mutual relationship. This represents an increasing economic drain on the United States each year, and as cities succumb to more overcrowding, and more crime etc etc., it's hard not to look at things like the May rally in a dim light. It's also hard to ignore things like their unique and charming flag display, the rhetoric that was heard, and the facts and figures that basically say that Mexico would like nothing more than to re-annex the southern united states in some way. When you hear phrases like 'land was stolen from us' from someone that's a) in our country illegally and b) waving a foreign flag over our soil at the same time, it's really hard to see that, and not be unhappy about it, if not upset.

More and more people are corresponding with their state and local government on this, and with Congress, and surprisingly the ones that are MOST upset are the legal immigrants FROM Mexico, who see what's going on as a cheapening, an insult to them, and rightly so. The laws on immigration are NOT being duly observed or enforced, and that needs to change. The cap-stone, the insult upon injury, is when they trot out the 'jobs americans won't do' crap.

Mexico needs to solve its' own problems IN Mexico, NOT in the United States. That's not being mean-spirited, or racist, that's being factual, even-handed, and realistic. My prediction is that the day they decide to do that, they'll find a lot of help, which is only right. But, not this way...

This is for you bella, I am RENEGADE. Husband to Princess, And you have offended me and mine whether you wished to or not. Let me ask you a question or two, What nationality are you? What color is your skin? What religion are you? What are your political affiliations? What is your level of education? Do you pledge your loyalty to America? Do you think that I am a Racist? Why do you think that Americans are blonde, blue eyed, tall guys? Why do you racially profile Americans?
NOW. let me tell you some things you might need to know to form an educated opinion. I am a Native American, I follow my peoples traditional ways and religious beliefs, I have long black hair kept in braids, brown eyes, brown skin, I wear feathers and skins on occasion, I listen to traditional music, really loud in order to upset the neighbors, I love my wife, treat her with the utmost respect at all times, I am totally against Criminal Trespassers within my countries boundaries, I believe that the supporters of these criminals are criminals themselves and should be treated accordingly. My views are based upon researched factual evidence.
My Wife is almost a total opposite of me, though we share the same views on Criminal Trespassers and the supporters.
Would you call her a "Racist" still?
You make the claim that Americans burned the Mexican flag, if this was done on American soil, there is nothing that can be done about it except to whine because Americans have a Constitutional RIGHT to freedom of speech, flag burning is considered "free speech". Get over it. We Americans will burn the mexican flag every day if we so choose to, its OUR right.
You say that we need to work together with our neighbors, Why dont you go tell that to the Mexican government? We Americans have been shown what a "good" neighbor we have over in mexico. Seeing is believing. You should try to talk TO someone, before you talk ABOUT them. Get your E- mail straightened out and I am sure that my Princess Will talk to you. NOW.
For the others on my sphincter list; NM505, why do you want information on cutting your pubic hair, & you have only been here since July the 3rd, is that when you "Immigrated" to MY country? Loser. NEXT VICTIM,
ADOLPHO! Is that the best you can do? insults and name calling, gotta do better than that to change minds and hearts. Why do all your questions have such concern for the politics of mexico and Lopez Obrador? Are you an American? Are you here in MY country Legally? You began in this forum on the 6th of May, A few days after the big mexican rallies, were you a part of that treasonous affair? GET LEGAL OR GET GONE! Tell me that you love America.

Within the primary place your assumption that almost all people are in the direction of reform is improper. Plenty people believe that there'll ought to be reform for the ones looking for to return to the U.S. Legally. The trouble is that any kind of reform isn't going to paintings till we've got secured the borders and committed to imposing the legislation at the books. If we give amnesty to the 20 + million unlawful extraterrestrial beings which might be already right here without securing the borders and implementing the authorized instructional materials we simply inspire the next 30 million to return again proper right here and look ahead to a different amnesty.

I truly don't care what those two individuals you site say....
If you are Mexican or any other nationality and you are in the USA illegally... you should be deported...you are here and you are breaking the legal immigration laws of the country....
I am multinational in origin..so all those dead relatives of mine came here and either became legal upon entry or applied prior to leaving their country of birth..
Latin's seem to be having a harder time getting into the USA at this time and it probably has something to do with the large number of illegals that have jumped the border...
No hatred here...if you have the balls do it legally..if not you best take your flea bitten A$$ back across the border you crossed over...when you do it the right way we'll be here for you...!!!!

It's not that mexicans are being picked as the only illegals in this country, nor is it that mexicans are being portrayed as the only race illegaly here and abusing the system by draining the already troubled health care and school system, but it is the mexicans that want to live in this country and want to change it to the country they came from,it is the mexicans that were being disrespectful to this country parading with their flag while lowering the US flag,no country in this world would stand for that, mexico itself would imprisoned such behaviour, and yet they want to be accepted as citizens of the US,you have to earn your citizenship first before you demand it,as far as I'm concerned, the mexicans brought these troubles into their ownselves and americans won't forget what happen on those protests

People asociate Illegals with Mexicans alone, but has anybody really enquired about the number of illegal canadians, Australians, Irish, Chinese, etc. In these country? No right, because they blend, so you don't care. We stand out and we are the majority because of our geographical shared border, but illegals come from everywhere. Why only we get the insults and the name calling?

Seriously, the Princess is against illegal immigration. She has been attacked by many and has I don't know how many impostor's who start with some lame race card throwing. I do not know her personally, but you need to make sure it is truly her making those statements and not someone else. I think that the two you mention are like most and are simply against illegal immigration and want others to come to America legally. Beware of the race card because it brings out the worse in everyone.

I'd have to say that ILLEGAL is illegal. If you are here legally, then more power to ya. But if you are here illegally...GO HOME.
Get legal...then you can come back. I like the statement made by someone else about the car. Can you justify someone stealing your car b/c they want a better life? No, you'd tell them to get a job and WORK for that better life, just like everyone else.
And if you come to the USA, learn to speak English. No matter where you come from. France, Spain, Mexico, India...don't matter. I have nothing against mexicans, if you are here legally.

I dont hate Latino's, I just dont like how they disrespect our laws and customs. I have a few hispanic friends, and honestly my biggest problem is that they break the law, and then when they make money here illegally, they send back to there home land with out paying taxes. That is my only beef, and I do wish they would learn the language of the land so they can function in our society. Every one doesnt speak spanish, and we shouldn't learn it so we can talk to illegal alliens.
