Selecting the right shampoo and conditioner for your hair type can mean the difference between a great hair day and a bad one. Shampoo's primary purpose is to remove residues from the hair, including dirt and oil. Some shampoos specifically remove product build up (clarifying shampoos). Other shampoos are specially formulated for permed or color treated hair. It is important you select a shampoo that matches your hair type. Doing so will help your hair look its best day in and day out....as for products..I really like "Tigi" ...To stop hair from being dry...u should use treatments...they helped me get rid of my dry hair...
oh and another tip...trim hair every six weeks or so..it gets rid of the dry split ends..gives u a fresh look!

gd luck :)

Try checking out your local Beauty supply store. Sometimes they have awesome generic type shampoos and conditioners that are EXACTLY like the name brand but at a fraction of the cost. Ask the sales clerks what might be best for your hair.

If your hair is dry and damaged always make sure you are using a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. No matter what the brand or cost.

I have really silky hair, but believe it or not, Head and Shoulders Dry Scalp shampoo works! You could also use Finesse which works great or add extra conditioner to the non-scalp areas of your hair.

Pantene- It really is not bad and rehydrates hair nicely. I have spent countless dollars on salon products and Pantene is actually just as good for dry hair.
