yes, I had been having trouble at work. I had been praying about it for a while. One night I kept having the same dream over and over and it would wake me up after one. When I went to work it was just like that day. Because in my dream I said what I was thinking I ended up getting fired. When I got to that point I kept my mouth closed and just agreed with my boss (who later said she made a mistake in her decision but appreciated me not correcting her in front of her boss and her bosses boss). I instead went to a friend of mine after the meeting (who by chance was the HR Manager) and cried and told them how I felt. Because there listened as a friend they helped me feel better and helped me see my bosses point of view. It ended up helping me later in my job.

It was literally the exact same day up to that point as in my dream. It was just not similar.

Not had one about me, but had dreams about things happening to people that came true. Like dreams about a person dying that I didn't even know and who wasn't sick, but died in a freak accident a few days after having the dream. Or dreaming about a friend's mom being sick, when I hadn't talked to her or her mom in years, and then soon after the dream, getting back in touch and finding out her mom indeed WAS sick and had the disease I had dreamed about. I'm not making this stuff up. So yes, I do believe in prophetic dreams

Yes. I once dreamed I needed a USB/PS2 adapter for a keyboard and I went to a certain store to buy it. Maybe a month later, I did just that.

Not so impressive though, since I work with computers and that's the store I normally shop at. It was pretty much inevitable that I would need to buy a USB/PS2 adapter for a keyboard at some point. As a matter of fact, I've bought several now. But that store closed shortly after the first one.

Yes, But it was not a dream, rather a feeling. I felt I was going to break a tooth, while eating a tuna fish sandwich. I decided to ignore it, and POW ! I hit a rock.

Lately, I have had a constant feeling, of something tragic wrapped with evil, like another 911. Turns out I am not the only one, who is getting this vibe. I think it is our subconscious trying to warn us of a looming danger. Things are just not right. I found this video that suggest one possible scary scenario.

Take a look at about 8 - 10 minutes of this interview with Professor Steven Jones. It's a 45 minute video and well worth looking at, to its end. At the very least, pass it on to those you care about.

I don't have dreams like that, but I have sort of memories of things that haven't happened yet. You know that feeling when some little thing triggers some memory of some other stupid little thing. Sometimes that happens to me, but then I realize that thing in the memory makes no sense. It hasn't happened yet. It always comes with a really weird feeling. Then, months or a year later, that thing, that exact moment in time that I saw in my "memory" will happen and then it all makes sense.

It's never been anything important, though. It's always been something completely unhelpful in the slightest.

This is what psychologists call "false memory" It's when you had a mildly similar dream, then when it happens you reinterpret what happened into the similarities of the dream, "remembering" it.

I've had a couple.

The oddest one went something like this.

I set my roommate up on a date with a women I knew in a class.

The night he went out on his first date with her I dreamed he was going to marry her.

A year later they were married.
