You should focus on getting custody of your child. You should not stay with someone that's mean. She'll be mean to your child as well.

Ha ha! She's pregnant! Of course she's gonna be mean. You just have to get used to that! She is hot, cranky, irritable, and has a parasite inside her, sucking out all of her energy! lol. I am 7 months pregnant with my second baby, and I finally told my husband it's his turn next time! It can get bad, but just stick with it. If you love her, I mean. Don't stay together 'for the sake of the baby', because it will never work. You just have to let her know that she is being the way she is (in a NICE WAY) and try different things to make her happy. Take her to get a hair cut, or her nails done, or buy her a maternity tank top. Get a small fan for her so that she can take it from room to room with her, get her a cold glass of ice water, or iced tea. Show her that you care, and she will be less bitchy.
Good luck
Heather

I'm assuming she wasn't "really mean" when you fell in love with her.

Pregnancy stirs-up hormonal storms in any woman: mood swings, depressions, short tempers, crying jags...you name it (some women can even run into thyroid trouble when pregnant, which can also make a person a bit crazy).

Emotional turmoil is simply part of the package.

I wouldn't make any big decisions about staying with her or not right now. Besides, staying is what a real man is supposed to do.

Be good to that baby. And good luck to all three of you!

Yes, you should. Being pregnant is extremely stressful and you need to suck it up like a man and be there while she is going through that. If she was fine before the pregnancy, then it's just the stress and hormones that are causing this now.

Now, go rub that woman's feet, bring her her favorite food, kiss her on the forehead and tell her how much you love her and how much you appreciate her going through all this to carry your child.

You'll be amazed how much you being extremely supportive will effect her attitude.

That all depends. You got to ask yourself this, does she want to be with you and do you want to be involved in parenting the child? If not then ditch the b*tc*. Anyways you both need to sit down and have a SERIOUS talk about it and find out what your options are. Having a baby is no joke and it will change your life forever.

Good luck.

I think this is a bad time to be thinking about whether you should stay with her or not, that should have happened before she got pregnant. You have the baby to think about now. Maybe counseling would help, if she was exposed to violence then it makes sense that she too might be mean. If nothing works you still need to think about the baby. Is she going to be mean to it too?

Sometimes when women are pregnant their hormones get the best of them and they seem mean. I hope this is the case and the two of you can work things out for the baby's sake.

Good luck!
(Just try to be sensitive to her feelings when you are around her.)

You don't have to stay with her, but you have a responsibility to that child. Was she mean before she got pregnant? If not, most likely it is just pregnancy hormones messing with her and you should just sit back and wait to see if it gets better.

Absolutely, it may be hormones, it may be the pregnancy getting her down, it could be a lot of things. Ask her how she's feeling rather than leaving her because she's acting "mean" she may just need some extra "tlc".
