Some told me that and the reason they said was that you wash away your digestive fluids when you drink. is this a load of crap or is there som logic behind it?

I think it depends on what fluids. I'm not really sure how to go about researching it either. My opinion is that fluids would probably help break things down.
You could try experimenting. Take an acid - vinegar or something like that, and put half a cup of it into a zippy baggy. Then in a second bag put a quarter cup of the acid and a quarter cup of what you'd normal drink at dinner. Then put a bit of whatever you'd eat into each bag, keeping the food amounts in each equal. Squish them both around for the same amount of time and see for yourself which works better.
I'd try it myself, but I'm not allowed in the kitchen anymore. Too curious for my own good, I guess.

I've heard that this is true. That the liquid you drink dilutes the digestive fluids.

were you told that as a kid? Maybe that was the way your parents got you to eat, and not fill up on liquids! I don't think it's true, certainly not heard it before.

i do not think this information is correct at all....doctors have told me to drink plenty of water and even with my meals..i think the water helps digest your food..so i do not know who told you this but it goes against what my doctor has said to me several times...
