Well for starters right after you get out of the shower add a bit of gel then a bit of hairspray enough that when its dry its a bit crunchy. Then let it air dry or simply blow dry after applying the items. While in this process make sure to turn on your curling iron. (Use a medium size) w/this you can make curls medium or small. After hair is dry pull all your hair up in a clip and leave a small amount at the bottom. Begin to curl, after this part is done put another section down and begin to curl this section. Continue this process until done. When done, curles make look like Sherly Temple curles if its not what you where looking for simply run your fingers softly through your hair and your hair will now look wavy with some natural looking curls. Works for me I think it will work for you too.

EASY! After you get out of the shower and dry your hair, put hot rollers in your hair, because their is still a small amout of moister left in your hair the rollers will use that moisure to set the curl. Leave in for 7-12 minutes and whala, cute curls :)

when your hair is really wet, put some mousse or cream in your hair, scrunch...use a diffuser and scrunch a little as you dry...make sure to turn your head over when you dry...allow to air dry the rest of the way...you should be good! if your hair isnt wavy or curly naturally, use a curling iron or rag rollers and lots of hairspray!

I have the same kind of hair and when I want to put curl in it, I use the large hot rollers. Put them in, do your makeup, take them out, run your fingers through and spray... You are ready to go!
