Some, no matter belief system, do not have the tolerance required to objectively look at their own and others beliefs.

Because we start out questioning. We have grown past that.

Think of a child, gazing upon a bike. "How does it work?" he wonders aloud. His dad explains how balance works, how pedalling moves the chain, and the chain moves the tire, and the tire pushes him forward. The child still doesn't get it, especially not the balance part, but he learns to ride anyway. In time, he becomes truly curious, and explores the parts of the bike alone, in the privacy of the garage. In a flash of an epiphany, it all comes together and makes perfect sense. He no longer needs to continue to question how the bike works, he already gets it. He might not know everything about it, but he knows enough to explain it to a point... push the pedal down, and he goes forward... pedal faster, go faster.

So it is with us. We already get the basics of our faith, and yeah, there's some really tricky parts we, as individuals, just don't get... but that takes the Master Bike Repair Guy (God) to explain it or show it to us when the time is right.

But honestly, among those of us who study, there isn't really a whole lot of questioning left... just a matter of obeying, preaching, edifying, and waiting. Just time to get out there and ride the bike.

No point in questioning God's Word. Either we live by it, or spend an eternity in Hell. Your choice.
