In your opinion, what constitutes a High Maintenance woman?

Someone who consistently expects others to go out of their ways for her, who demands that others provide for her, who will not compromise on anything, but only looks out for her own interests. Doesn't have anything to do with looks (although high maintenance women are typically meticulous about their hair, makeup, etc). Mostly has to do with an overdeveloped sense of self-entitlement.

I am a high maintenance woman alot of people say I am one because I keep myself done up all the time with the makeup, getting my hair & nails done every two weeks. I'm always dressed nice. I just really take good care of myself any other woman that does the same is considered high maintenance to me.

A High Maintenance woman is a woman who demands the very best, the most expensive, the utmost devotion from her man (or from others), no matter how much it costs him. She is constantly trying to get others to prove their love for her, either through arduous tasks or expensive gifts or total compliance to her wishes. A good example would be Rose from this season's Seventh Heaven (7th Heaven).

High maintenance women are ones who wanna like above their means the Whitney Houston or Pamela Anderson wanna be's. They want expensive cars, Lots of jewelry, designer hand bags and shoes, clothes etc. Exotic vacations, livin in a condo and eating at expensive restaurants. They wanna live CHAMPAGNE WISHES AND CAVIAR DREAMS-lifestyles, providing they could find a man to boot it!

I'm a girl and sure I love nice things-but don't live beyond my standards, there's more to life than material things.....There's love, life, happiness and good health!*wink

Personally, I think there is nothing wrong with spending money on someone you care about but the spending should be voluntary. When a woman starts asking a guy to spend his money to buy her things which are luxuries when she, herself, is working and it's almost like money is all that satisfies her, then it's a big problem.

A Woman is high maintanance but one good example is my ex she needed constant stuff she was always wanting something like she would be tired hot cold fed up skint fat ill money to buy stuff always complaining about something you know nothing is ever good enough still i pay real maintanance now and thats almost as bad!

If you can't do a single thing without any help at all ...your probably high maintenance.
If you ask your fella where something is before even looking yourself ...your probably high maintenance.
If you don't feel pretty without your bloke telling you every 3 seconds ...your probably high maintenance.
If you go out anywhere, you need him to come along with you ...your probably high maintenance.

One that needs a man to do everything from bills to cutting her lawn I'd rather have an average woman than put up with that BS
She needs her hair nails done in my book that's personal hygiene do it yourself. I don't mind helping but theirs a limit

I could go on with this one for hours!

- spend nothing but time and money on only themselves
- selfish, pouty little snots that think they deserve to be catered to
- temper tantrums
- Gucci, Fendi, Burberry, etc fiends that (I like nice stuff, too, but its not always about the label)
- always have a mirror out, poses in front of it constantly
- the kind that dumps a guy because he goes out with a friend
- me, me, me, me, me types
- fake body parts (hair, boobs, lips, etc)

Oh...the list goes on and on, but I'm sure you get the picture.
