My daughter when she was 8 months old went into status epileptics which is life threatening. She seizures for 2 and 1/2 hours despite medical intervention, a respirator and life flight. Doctors told us that if she lived her neurological status would be questionable. As we sat and waited in the first Emergency Room not knowing whether our daughter was alive or dead. Something overshadowed me and for the first time in my life I understood what the bible meant when they said the peace that passes all understanding. We did not know whether she would live or die but somehow I knew that everything would be OK and that we were not alone and that God was walking with us.

One specific situation was just prior to major surgery. I was very frightened and as I was being wheeled into the operating room the most indescribable peace washed over me and I knew everything was going to be all right.

Being disabled and taking custody of my 9 and 5 year old grand-kids was impossible I thought.
God has answered my prayers so many times in the year I have had them I cannot count them.
Every day seems to bring a new challenge.

every situation that i needed peace from to resolve, god has come through for me. god is THE CREATOR he can do anything, everything. if we truely believe and we talk to god and have a personal relationship with him, being friends and equals not just bowing down (not that bowing is wrong) he will show us everlasting love.

you can not find peace from god, you can find it in yourself first. god is in us all so we have to look in before we can ask outward.
