Thanks for your insights! I have had my thyroids checked. I have had complete blood work done, including hormones. Everything is "normal". I am going to find a good OB Doc. and have them take a look inside my system! My regular Doc seems to be too quick to medicate everything or blame my overweightness for the problem. She wrote me a prescription for a medication to start my period synthetically! I want to know the cause not just cover it up with a bandaid! I came on here to see if anyone else was thinking they might be having their cycle effected by Lexapro too so I can mention it to the OB when I go in as a possible catalyst.

you need to see your obgyn. or your doctor. 5 mos. with no period is surely not a good thing.

I am not sure that it is Lexapro. Have you had your thyroids checked? That happened to me about 14 years ago and I have hypothyroidism. It's worth a try... Good Luck.. How do you like Lexapro?

I'm on lexapro too, and I've had the same issue. But then again my period has never been regular. I go to the doctor on Friday, I think you should go to yours as well.
