I was just wondering, b/c some people on here have really different views about every religion, so what do some people think about this religion. Just before people say things that they don't know all the meaning of, I would like you to know that Islam requires you to know about other religions too. To see what is truth in them and what is false. So, answer away.

There is good and bad just like in every country and religion.they are very religious not like most christians.Many christians dont follow bible or jesus.For example my friends uncle is gay but he still goes to church.And its all because theres too much freedom.I like them althought i wish they would be christian but they are very religious for example muslims pray five times a day if they will pray four then they arent muslim no more.If you come to a muslim house during his praying time he wont get up he wont even look at you even if you will start stealing his stuff.But christian text messages during praying time.So far most of muslims that i met were good people.People shouldnt judge other people for what their comrades did like it doesnt mean that all muslims are bad if Usama bin Laden is a terrorist.But still christianity is the best and jesus is our savior.Agree?

Everyone is entitled to there own belief so nobody needs worry about what others think of his religion. I don't have a problem with people who are muslims, i just have a problem with the way islam is spread. Throughout history islam has been carried by war to all parts of the world. Not to say that other religions haven't been either just it seems that it is islams only form of transportation.

Their the same as any other religion. Being muslim is no different than being Hindu, Jewish, Christian etc ... The difference in all this is how we carry out our actions as a person.
There is extremism in all religions, but right now there is a lot of extremism in Islam, which is sad, but needs to be overcome and understood that extremism is not the mainstream part of the religion.

Like any group of people, they have some awesome wonderful ones and some total *****, and like any religion, it can be twisted into totalitarianism and asshattery. It sucks that the violent freaks get more media attention. But overall I think that Muslims are as good or bad as anyone.

Muslims are fine, I think the average Muslim isn't as intelligent or well-educated as the average Christian so there is that gap. And so they do things in the name of Allah because they were told that's what Allah wanted, not because they researched the wants of their God. Christians never just kill people in the name of Christianity, it is because they can usually read the Bible and figure out for themselves that God doesn't want us to kill other people. And I will never understand why Muslims kill more Muslims than they do other religions.

I think Muslims are very fine people...
Often misguided, by the "extremists" that want to kill themselves and others...(mainly because they dont turn them in, because its against thier religion to do so, so they will let others bomb them, and kill them with out any reprisals).
Yet, they will let them kill anyone else, because we are all "infidels"...
I dont understand the hatred, that exudes from a lot of them, to want to kill so many, because they are not of thier 'sect'. A Sunni will kill another type of Muslim because he isnt a Sunni, as all the others will do the same!
And EVERYONE hates the JEWS.. (I think it goes clear back to Abraham and who got the blessing, isaac or ismeal, (sp), I believe)...
So, the Muslims are a fine people, as any other culture, but, when you mix radical religion in there, as any "people", who has a religion of hate, then they are still fine people but a bit misguided.
Not all Muslims hate everyone! Only the few are making a name for themselves, and the rest have to suffer, because of them, both physically from the bomb fragments in thier bodies, and from the retalliation that everyone exacts on them because of thier fellow extremeists...

The problem is fundamentalists and radical crazies, and that goes for fundameltalist Muslims and Christians. Belief is belief and everyone is entitled to theirs. I don't have a problem with Muslims, just the ones that commit suicide bombings, just like I don't have a problem with Christians, just the ones that spew hatred and violence. Big difference.

well lat me say im a muslims i think there is notthing wrong with them im allowed to do any thing i want just like americans mexicans cuban and any other people yeah some are religons but some are okay. people like to jujge muslims cause they were the scarfs on there head but i have no promble with it . i think peole sould be worryed b/c racism and descrimnation

muslims are good people.... but some take things to extremes... just like any culture. for example. I'm baptist... most baptist people that I know are what you would consider "normal" but there are some that do the whole snake-handling and speaking in tongues thing.... which in my view is extreme.

They are just religeous. Theres nothing wrong with that as long as you don't force it on other people, which i think is something all religions are guilty of.
