I feel to tired to do anything at all. I am too young to be this tired and old feeling. I also have hypothyroidism and that doesn't help at all. Had my levels checked and they are "normal". Can anyone help me?

I know several people on Lexapro and yes, if they hold still too long they seem to start snoring. But the benefits in those I know have far outweighed this inconvenience. One in particular I know has become the most delightful person where they used to be hypersensitive and very quick to anger. Now they are more tolerant and seem to enjoy life more.

I am on Lexapro also. (1 Year) I was really tired(sleepy) for the first 3 weeks of being on the medication. Then it got better and I felt pretty good. I am now tired all the time again, so I began searching the Internet for answers. Lexapro can cause insomnia. I have been experiencing a lot of it in past few months. I drag all day long now and just feel my bed constantly calling out for me! For me though, I'd rather be tired all the time than go back to feeling hopeless, suicidal, depressed, nausea, migranes, and crazy! I hope I have helped in some way.

I've been on it since the middle of May - I just thought I was exhausted from being depressed or something. I didn't think it could be the side effects. Did you experience any other side effects within the first 6 weeks? I couldn't eat, was nauseated a lot & had sweat attacks like crazy. That's gotten better, but yes,
I'm exhausted. All I wanna do is sleep. I reckon both of us had better see our drs & find out what to do - I know mine told me he could try me on Welbutrin if the Lexapro didn't do the trick. I may
switch. Are you on 10 or 20mgs per day? Maybe you need to cut back? I think the best thing for you to do would be to see the dr that prescribed it for you. Good luck!!
