I met a man that I have been in a mature relationship with for several years. I feel that he is my soulmate, and that is not a word a throw around loosely, I have been dating for awhile and also had another serious relationship in the past, but I have never had a connection like this one before. I mean this man is my bestfriend before anything else, we get each other to the point its almost scary, I don't really know if people understand that it is rare to find someone that you totally gel with, everyone says well there is other good men, and yes I am sure there are but how many times in your life do you find that person you feel totally complete with? The thing is he cheated on me and has been being sneaky about somethings but I know that he loves me,I told him that I can't continue to see him right now because I don't trust him because of the cheating I don't know what to do, I don't know if I am making the right decision, and now he wants no contact at all he says its to hard.

This is kinda hard especially if you think he is your soul mate. See for me i wouldn't stay with a guy if he cheated on me because most likely they will do it again. I think you should talk to really talk to him because if he is your soulmate you don't want to lose him. If he was your friend before you started going out then it hopefully won't be hard to talk to him. Well i hope this helps and good luck with everything. : )

I through* Sorry I don't think so, a soulmate wouldn't cheat. That doesn't mean he's a soulmate because u connect it's almost "scary" But maybe, u might have more then 1 soulmate. I don't trust a cheat, END it forever sweetie. It's not fair or fun. U deserve better. He don't love u! He wouldn't have cheated! PLAIN and simple. Sorry, he don't love u. U mean u did just a break? STUPID. There's no trust, it's OVER. Some experts might disagree, but I don't believe it can work out.

If you still felt totally complete with him then you would still be with him.
I'm not sure I believe in soul mates. I do know the feeling of complete connection and comfort when you are with someone. Speaking for myself trust is something I give easily and freely to everyone ... its one of the most difficult to earn back when lost.
I think the best question asked here would be why he cheated and if you could ever forgive him for such an act. Don't kid yourself into taking any of this lightly because you think he is your soul mate. Stay true to yourself for you are the only one who will know if you can truly forgive him.
With him backing away saying its too hard ... isn't love worth working at?? Especially when you are the one that made the mistake?
Think about it ... and follow your heart. Stay true to yourself and believe in yourself. Good luck.

You made the right decision. Regardless to what kind of relationship you thought you had... the fact of the matter is if he actually was your soul mate, he would have cared about your feelings enough NOT to cheat on you.

There is no such thing as a "soul mate".
You are free to love whomever you will and are not predestined to love just one.
But if you're asking, can love exist after such a thing - it can - but it might not exist as a couple.
