i had one come back abnormal a few yrs back and my family dr kept demanding i have the leep surgery done, well i had no health insurance at the time, she stuck her finger in my face and was stressing i needed it or i could die,, so i knocked her a good one,, the dr that did the biopsy said that 95% of the time it goes away on it's own,, so i told her to kiss my *** and went to a new dr,, they did the pap and it came back normal,, sometimes those cells will come back,, but they also go away too,,, so i would actually see another dr for another result if i were u,, cause i think those surgerys sometimes make things worse. good luck to u!

Get a current pap smear when you can. I've had a couple of abnormal paps, and sometimes a perscription cream can clear up the bugs causing it or you may need further treatment. I've been fine since (about 5 years).
