Here's my sentence: Scripts started to (arrive).
Context: thanks to a film he played in, an actor started to get A LOT OF scripts. So I need a word for that! Please!!!

[I'm French, and all the French words I can think of do not make sense in English. I also tried the synonym dictionary in both languages, but I'm not getting anywhere!]

Do you mean the "arrive" word? Typically you would say something like, "Scripts started to pour in."

That would convey the sense of "a lot."

or
