people call me a geek because i'm not easy, 've never had a boyfreind,and i get good grades in school!i have light brown hair,medium length,blue eyes, i'm 5'4,and i'm 13,am i a GEEK?!

Geeks rule! I was a geek. I'm now married to a very handsome man and have a beautiful daughter. Throughout grade school I had a lot of guy friends and some I had crushes on but was always their bud. Don't be afraid to tell a guy you like them. I was a virgin until I met my husband, I never had a boyfriend in school, I was an honor roll student and also have light brown hair, medium length, blue/green/gray eyes, 5'4" and I'm now 28. I now have a Bachelor's degree and a great job. The girls back then who dated a lot haven't even finished college, are divorced or breaking up with their boyfriends and want kids and aren't ready yet. I think life turned out good for me. At 13, you should not be easy. You're still a little girl. Take your time growing up and have fun with your friends. Good for you for having good grades, you'll be able to get into a good college and make something great out of your life. Don't worry about what boys your age say. Like they would really know how to please you, if you were to sleep with them. You are a person not a pleasure object. Be strong and don't worry about what other people say about you, that just leads to low self esteem. Know that you are better than that. Just because you have good grades doesn't mean you are a geek. I have gotten straight a's for two years staight and a lot of my friends do too. A lot of my friends haven't had boyfriends and they are 13 too. The other people are jealous and will be because they will be working at K mart when they are 33 (which isn't that bad just an example)and they will either work for you or want to be you when you make lots of money and they don't. Nobody really knows what geek means. Everybody gives it their own meaning. So, if you think geek means you are smart and get good grades then i guess i'm a geek too!!

You might want to wait awhile before thinking about having a boyfriend!! Trust me you'll know what I mean when the time comes.

No you aren't a geek. People sterotype others to make themselves feel better about themselves. Not having a boyfriend at 13 is pretty normal. Be careful you don't want one so bad that you get used. You will not be happy about it afterwards, to be rejected. Noboby should have sex just because they are boyfriend/girlfriend for one or two days. That even sounds silly doesn't it.

Boys will call you names because that is all they want from you, and girls will call you names because they are jealous of you. Don't worry about what they say, cause it isn't any of your business anyway. You know who you are by now, trust that voice in your heart that knows the real truth about you.

You are in a situation of cliques and drawn out groups...Don't worry, your geekyness will directly influence how successful you are in life, and someday you will probably be the boss of those people calling you a geek..imagine the revenge! Anywho~After high school, those generic stereotypes don't have as much weight..especially if you go to college you will find more people like you and who enjoy the same things you do....so you won't feel so alienated

Don't let things that other people say about you get to your head. You're too young to have a serious relationship with somebody and you aren't just another lazy girl from school since you're doing well in your classes. However, I recommend that you either play sports or learn how to dance. Both options require you to do some physical work, but they can get you a lot of respect from others if you can master any sport/dancing style at your age.
