Drugs are not a sin. In Genesis 1:29, God states quite clearly that he made "every" plant and "every" seed to be used by mankind. That includes marijuana, coca (which contains cocaine), and poppies (which contain opium).

A couple of reasons. First, they might not be a christian. People lie. Second, even though we're christians, we're still human. We mess up occasionally, and we aren't perfect. We aren't supposed to do drugs and curse, but if they've been doing that stuff for a while it's a hard habit to break, and only Jesus Christ can help them. I can't possibly list all the reasons why someone would be such a hypocrite, but I want to encourage you that not all Christians are like that. You can tell who a real christian is by the way they live their life.

Because no one is perfect - God doesn't expect us to be. The whole Christian belief system is based on forgiveness - Jesus died on the cross and thus took all our sins on Himself. This is why we are forgiven if we ask.
I agree that Christians should not do bad things and then sit in the front pew on Sundays... The fact is, we all make mistakes and it will be forgiven. The thing is, you can not go around, sin and think "oh well, I can do whatever, I will be forgive" - you have to TRY.
On another note, regarding drugs: drugs and alcohol usually starts innocently ("I won't become addicted") but addiction is an illness. But as I said, you really must try.
I hope this answer helps a bit.

They need help, and cursing itself isn't what it was in the time of the bible, using dirty words has nothing to do with being a Christian or the Bible or any religion. But if they are doing drugs and pronouncing a curse on someone, then it would be awe full and not Christian. They are misguided and it could be they don't go to church to hear the message anyway. If the do go it isn't helping them.

The key is exactly what you said, they "SAY they are Christians" Jesus said his followers would be known by their "fruitage" or the things they produce, the way they live their lives.
I can claim to be a Dr. but that doesn't mean I am one.
I am including a link that talks about the influence Jesus should have on our lives. Christians are supposed to be foot step followers of Christ. http://www.watchtower.org/library/w/2005/3/15a/article_02.htm

Christians are still sinners. Just because we're Christians does not mean we have the ability to magically not sin.

It is important that we worship God in the way that he approves. Many people believe that all religions are pleasing to God, but the Bible does not teach that. It is not even enough just to claim to be a Christian. Jesus said: “Not everyone saying to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the kingdom of the heavens, but the one doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens will.” To have God’s approval, therefore, we must learn what God requires of us and do it. Jesus called those who do not do God’s will “workers of lawlessness.” (Matthew 7:21-23) Like counterfeit money, false religion has no real value. Even worse, such religion is actually harmful.
Mark 7:6, 7: “He [Jesus] said to them [the Jewish Pharisees and scribes]: ‘Isaiah aptly prophesied about you hypocrites, as it is written, “This people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far removed from me. It is in vain that they keep worshiping me, because they teach as doctrines commands of men.”
Regardless of whom a group profess to worship, if they hold to doctrines of men instead of the inspired Word of God, their worship is in vain.
“Go in through the narrow gate,” Jesus said, “because broad and spacious is the road leading off into destruction, and many are the ones going in through it; whereas narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life, and few are the ones finding it.” (Matthew 7:13, 14) According to God’s Word, there are only two kinds of religion: one true, one false; one right, one wrong; one that leads to life, one that leads to destruction.
"All things are clean to clean persons. But to persons defiled and faithless nothing is clean, but both their minds and their consciences are defiled. 16 They publicly declare they know God, but they disown him by their works, because they are detestable and disobedient and not approved for good work of any sort." (Titus 1:15-16.)
Some people think that all religions are pleasing to God. The preceding Bible verses show that this is not true.

Only they know.
And it's sad, because they're claiming to be something they're really not.
Here's an idea:
Let them call themselves "Christians"
and let us call them "Hypocrites" :-)
Sorry if my straightforwardness seems mean, but I'm speaking the truth. ;)
