Going by breed, and not by individual dog, I'd have to say definitely Jack Russell Terriers. Bostons are high energy, but should never be "hyper". Bostons are not true terriers like Jack Russells. They were created, so it goes, using a now extinct breed of terrier and an English Bulldog. As such, they are not intended to have that hyper-dog attitude.
Edit: Just as a comparison, I looked up the temperament standard of each breed over at the AKC. (The Jack Russells are now known as the Parson Russell Terrier, by the way.)
Parson Russell Terrier:
"Bold and friendly. Athletic and clever. At work he is a game hunter, tenacious, courageous, and single minded. At home he is playful, exuberant and overwhelmingly affectionate. He is an independent and energetic terrier and requires his due portion of attention."
Boston Terrier:
"The Boston Terrier is a friendly and lively dog. The breed has an excellent disposition and a high degree of intelligence, which makes the Boston Terrier an incomparable companion."
See the difference? ;)

Check breed books, or sites----Jack Russell Terriers are more hyper. They are only recommended for the very active owner or household.

Jack Russell - my friend had one & from the time the dog woke up til the time it went to bed - all it thought about was "where's my ball?" or "Throw my ball."
