i dont always follow the commandments
so why does everyone think we are perfect
we just believe in jesus

hey to tom quit actin like your perfect cus most of the christions i know are ugly sinners...my friend stole a car and hes christian....all of his friends are christian and they all smoke pot...so your not perfect...this doesnt aply to you crazy wig lady. now im not sayin christians are never perfect...we are all equal not all christians are perfect not all jews are perfect not all athiests are perfect. there is no such thing as being perfect we all have flaws no matter wut.

No one rational believes anybody of any faith is perfect. A lot of Christians think they are perfect and everyone else is wrong. That is why Christians get bashed, nobody like the no it all in a group, and most are wise enough to know it is BS. No such thing as perfect, it is the a worth goal, but an impossible one.

Yea... got some shocking news for ya, Sweetcakes, MANY have big reservations about many so-called Christians... and we are not as "popular" as you might think. In.fact, I can't help but think of this question as a prank... a GOOD PRANK... to drive home the point? No, few, if any, think of Chistians as "perfect." Believe me sweetheart.. I can assure you, NO ONE thinks Christians are perfect! What people think, is that Christians believe they are perfect because they are Christians.
The only think that makes a Christian or anyone else perfect is the Blood of Christ... But that is for another question, debate and discussion.

People in general don't think that Christians are perfect...they believe that Christians think that Christians are perfect. Any Christian out there who believes they are perfect would in fact be wrong. We have all sinned and we all fall short of Glory of God. So we thank Him for His Son who died for our sins...for everyone's sins. No man can boast and anyone who does cannot be a true believer in Christ or the Word of God. Love in Christ, ~J~ <><

Rest assured, I do not think Christians are perfect!
I think that SOME Christians however do not even try to improve themselves or perfect their natures. I think that some Christians feel that they are a hopeless case and can never be good. I think it is necessary to at least try to become better and better.

Most Christians are constantly telling other people how they should act; what they should and shouldn't do.
It's assumed that they take their own advice and disappointing when they cannot live up to their own ideals. It's presumed that they can and do.
Noone thinks you're perfect. We know that you act like you have all the answers.

Because a lot of (so called) "Christians" go around with there hollier than thou attitudes and act like they are better then everyone else. A "Christian" is called that because they are to be Christ like. God(Jesus) gave us his Spirit to dwell within us, to impower us to live above sin. When we sin we ask our Lord to forgive us. He is just and able to forgive us. We must not judge others, lest we be judged. Obey the scriptures and live a holy life.

#1 cause for athism is Christianity.
Its prob cause we preach this and that and if you don't do that your going to hell but then when the service is over we got a few priest rapping little boys and preachers cheating on their wife's. Christianity is a very hypocritical religion its hard but that's why there are rules and that's why our God is so forgiving. The bible doesn't warn us about temptation for nothing.

It's not so much that non-Christians think Christians are perfect, is that some Christians seem to think they're perfect and everyone else is horrible! I hope that makes sense.
I'm cool with Christians who understand that they're people like anyone else.
