If this is a older prescription that was used for another cat. Liquid Amoxocillin is no good after 14 days from the day the water was added too it. if its under 14 days old should be ok. Its best not to give a med to a cat who it was not prescribed for. The normal dose for a 3 pound cat is 1/4 of a eye dropper full. The eye dropper that is in the med bottle. If your cat is ill and your self treating. Its really best to take this cat to the vets.

The dosage should be right on the bottle the vet gave you. If they didnt put it on there give them a call, that is something they can tell you over the phone.

Was it prescribed by your vet or are you just deciding yourself to start an antibiotic????????????????
Call your vet and get verification on the amount that should be given. there are many different strengths of Amoxicillin.

Look on the bottle if the VET gave it to you, if you bought it call him and ask to make sure its okay to do so..
