God is the one who breathes souls into children, then again, he could send souls through the angels down to unborn children.Either way, I don't think that they would mess up like that. Granted that 1/3 of the Angels followed Lucifer and they were thrown from the heavens to earth. Lucifer thought that because he was made perfect by God, that he could be God. That's what happen's when people are vain as well. It's up to us to find our destinies. May God guide us in paths for what matters in our hearts. It's part of God's plan. Whatever it may be.

If such a thing about angels putting the souls into the mortal infant fetus is true you can rest assured that it were none of the third of the hosts of heaven that were kicked out along with Lucifer for their terrible choices, not mistakes. A mistake is misplacing your car keys.
I've never heard of the doctrine, nor do I put much stock in that angels place souls into mortality. The spirit itself makes that journey by himself or herself from the pre-existence into mortality.
