Swimming is a great alternative to running to reduce heat rashes, and other things. I've been on both sides of the fence, I run cross country and I'm a year round swimmer, and not only does swimming give your overall body a workout, but it's a great toner for muscles, especially in your four-arms, back, abs and thighs. Swimming is also good because you also don't have to worry about waiting a couple of days to rest, because it isn't that taxing on your body like running is on the ankles, legs, and feet. Not to mention if you swim about 5000yds a practice like I do, you don't have to worry to much about your daily calorie/carb intake. Also there are many pieces of equipment that you can use in the pool to target one area of your body, like if you use a pull buoy and paddles, you will really get a great fore-arm workout. You can find these thing at you local aquatic/swimwear shop. Good luck, and I hope this helps.

Why dont you try something that does not make you sweat so much. Like light weight training and cardio(bike, tredmill) Also you might want to get body powder and put it on the places that get real bad. When you get home shower right away and dont stay in the same clothes you worked out in. After the shower you can get an aloe based lotion and put that on your body too. If nothig works call the Doc!

Try turning the air conditioning colder in the room where you are working out and/or turn on a fan. If you are running outside, try either running on a treadmill in the a/c or running when it is cooler outside, like early in the morning or late in the evening.
