Puppies are normally very good eaters unless they are sick. Give him the nutri-stat, but have him checked for an intestinal blockage and worms and Lyme disease and watch out for viruses. If the vet's only answer is "stress" I'd take the pup to a different vet.

Extra protein!! As long as it wasn't a poisonous spider, he'll be okay. More worrying is why you are bottling a puppy of this age. He's not 'premature' although he may be backward for some reason (unlikely). At 6 - 7 weeks he should be on a good quality puppy food, fed 4 times a day - breakfast around 7 am, lunch around noon, tea at 4.30 - 5 pm and a late evening meal if he needs it (weight). ps Be careful spraying anything around your puppy!

Definitely get a second opinion. It sounds like he might be sick. Does he drink water? If not then he's definitely sick. Try to give him some unflavored Pedialyte along with the Nutristat. It will keep him hydrated and he'll get the nutrition he needs until he starts eating food. Please whatever you do, do NOT give him human food. It's bad for dogs and a bad habit to get into.

It will not hurt the dog to have a vitamin supplement of some sort especialy when they are puppies. I would not give vitamines to a dog over 1 yr. You need to feed a good quality food visit this web sight for the top rated foods for dogs

Nutrical or Nutristat and maybe try mixing his puppy chow with puppy milk (you can buy it pre mixed or powdered, I like to use the powdered). Does he have some stuffed animals to snuggle with too? That might help.

like my dog your dog may be a grazzer (wich means you leave the food out and the eat little portions when they are hungry) Or your dog may just not like it's food and in that case buy it new food! If you have it on dry food try wet, and if you have it on wet food try dry. Hope that helped!
