You may want to check whether there is LATEX in the bandaids. If there is it is very important that you see your physican for a possible LATEX allergy. This can be severe and at its worse can cause death. There are many products that contain Latex and therefore this is not something that can be taken lightly. There is a simple blood test that can show whether your allergic to LATEX. It tests for the
antibodies (your response to LATEX). In the meantime you can use gauze pads they come in many sizes and papertape. Also be careful of the types of disposable gloves you use make sure they are LATEX free. Many paints are LATEX based. Good luck and I hope that you are not allergic but if you are your doctor will teach you what you need to avoid and give you medication to carry in case you are exposed.

You buy latex free medical supplies. I know you may think its the adhesive, but it's not it's the latex in the bandaids and medical tape.

Try telfa pads and wrapping the wound with gauze and tape the gauze, not your skin. Also they have paper tape that is supposed to be hypo-allergenic.
