If somebody chooses either one of these, do you think there is a chance they'll be able to be an FBI agent, DEA, and a Detective?
Or will they only be able to be a cop when they get out?

The FBI requires extensive post-secondary education. Simply being an MP won't be enough.

As people have said before me you do need to have a degree to become a federal agent. Thats easy enough seeing how the military offers 100% tuition. Now with a degree and having law enforcement under your belt you do have a good sense of how the law works and that would give you brownie points when they are looking at your application.

You need a 4 year degree for FBI. http://www.fbijobs.gov/

For DEA: http://www.dea.gov/resources/job_applicants.html

Detectives are police officers that have been promoted.

I would say it's up to that person...what their goals are. They could really do either but whichever they choose, it's likely they'll have to go through additional training for either choice (police academy or FBI academy).

You have better odds getting in the FBI with a degree in either accounting or engl;ish than if you are a MP.

Sorry.

It depends...with that kind of experience you would have a pretty good chance. You have to put in an application and if you've got what they're looking for...you're in!
