I really don't think so... I mean, when you smell it (as I am doing right now, by the way...) it really doesn't have an unpleasent odor to it. The big, permanent markers do... and give a lot of people headaches after smelling, or using it for long periods of time.

I'd think if you went onto the Sharpie website, you'd be able to get information on the contents, and warnings of the marker.

But, thanks... it's been a while since I sniffed a marker!

Yes it is harmful, because it gives you a high feeling. Then high feeling is caused by a lack of oxygen to the brain, which kills brain cells that can't replace themselves.

if u try 2 get high yea it really affects ur brain. trust me my friend had been doing it for 3 yrs n hes really messed up TODAY. dont try, u could get addicted to it but if u've been doing it 4 a long long time like my friend did, well dats gonna affect ur everyday life n especially ur brain

Well, if you smell them too much it can get you high. They kill your brain cells. So if I were you, I wouldn't be smelling them for the fun of it.

Yes, it can be harmful if inhaled directly.It is to me very wierd that people make markers scented if they are not meant to be inhaled.
