Hi everyone,
I really hope that someone can answer me this question since I have a hard time finding the answer. What is the difference between the following majors: Bioengineering vs. Biomedical engineering

Well, in bio-engineering, you may study yeast or bateria that produce drugs, foods, degrade garbage, eat away oil spill, speed up some chemical reactions, and so forth.

With biomedical enginnering, you'd be focussing on human beings: artificial limbs, how to make a mechanical heart, designing surgical instruments, etc.
