I think dressing up puppy is a very interesting thing to do. U add alittle charateristic to him/her. However, it has to depend on if ur dog like it or not. Some clothes make the dog feel very uncomfortables. But in winter time, the sweaters do make my bobo feel very warm. I usually shop at fortunepet.com they have many selection there. maybe you can add a little tone to ur lovely puppy by the clothes, shoes, sunglasses...etc. I am sure u'll love the way he/she looooooks.

You can waste your money any way you want. I think it looks really stupid, but clothes designed to fit dogs are not harmful. Dogs already are dressed in beautiful fur coats. Our dachshund, appreciated a sweater when it was very cold in the winter, however. If people wouldn't keep oohing and ahhing over every imbecilic thing celebs, like, well you know who, and I hate to keep her name in the news, do, then this would probably not even be a question being asked. I like putting a bandana on my dogs, when it is not too hot, but aside from a halloween costume, once a year, I do not dress up my dogs. (They hate the costume part---it's a struggle, but the prizes are fun!)

Could you be any more cruel to the dog. It's an animal not a person. Putting clothing on an animal is one of the most idiotic things people can do. It looks ridiculous and there is a reason most animals try to get away when you put the clothes on them. They don't like it.

I think if people want a doll, get a doll. If you want a dog, get a dog. Don't get a dog and treat it like a doll. There are some clothes that are functional for dog, especially in the cold: jackets, booties, even some sunglasses (some dogs have eye problems too); sometimes it is a novelty to dress up your dog (human t-shirt). Generally it is stupid. Harmless, but stupid.

Well it depends some people dress them up cause they think it looks cute and other for there protection,dogs with white fure can get sunburned and sticking there heads out the window causes things to infect their eyes9thats why theres sun glasses.)so it realy all depends on the reason why its being dressed up and weither they like it.My one dog love clothes my other one hates it.Clothes ment for dogs don't hurt them thats some PETA junk that they made up human clothes can be uncomfortable for dogs but unless they trip and fall they dont get hurt.

I think putting "People" clothes on a pet is demeaning. They are individuals of another type than we are and we should respect them for the creatures they are. I love our big dog and don't try to make a doll out of him although we do put a dog sweater on when it gets around zero. I really believe dogs feel embarrasment too.

I don't think it's that big a deal, obviously people who dress up their dogs love them very much and take care of them which is, I think, the paramount concern in pet ownership. If you like it go for it, but let the dog go without clothes frequently as well.

I love to dress up my little man. I have a mini dachshund. It is not mean to dress them up. Maybe when it is really hot. But in the winter i have sweaters and parkas and lots of other things. It is fun and they look soooo much cuter. You also get way more compliments on how cute your dog is when he has an outfit on.

People who buy decorative clothes for their dogs have too much time & money on their hands. I don't see that it's hurting the dog though, and it's their choice.

I love putting on clothes for my puppies! its so cute! i have a chihuahua and a dachuand (sp?) so they look ah-dorable. like i don't put sunglasses on them, but i put lil one-sie outifts and booties. And i dont put on anything dumb like halloween costumes. Juicy Couture has the best dog outfits.
