I answered a question about if being bi or gay is wrong and I answered from my religious beliefs as a Christia

Christian.Then got a notice in my email that I violated the Yahoo answers by offending the asker. I derived my response from the bible and my belief of it, and not in a rude way at all. Just honest. Isn't that just wrong????

Thanks to all the Christians who support my right to have my religious beliefs in the same way as everyone else does, and thanks for the kind words! I feel a little better now!

One more thing, I don't HATE ANYBODY,because I am a true Christian, I love my fellow human beings. Amen!

I understand your point, but never in the bible does it say that a lie is an abomination.

Yes it is wrong, it is a double standard. I think that the person who asks the question can report it and then they send you the email as a follow up letting you know that it was reported. My thought, if your only out to hear what you want to hear, then don't post such a question unless your prepared to hear what you don't want to hear!!

The asker obviously can dish it out, but can't take it! And IT is TRUTH!

Well.. there is an area on the Report Abuse form to report people who express violence or hatred and another to report people who insult you. I can't really say whether or not its wrong or honest though because I didn't read your other post.

No. Just because you derived your answer from your religious beliefs does not mean that you were right in saying it. Hatred is never acceptable, regardless of your justifications for it.

Someone probably reported you because they didn't agree with you.
Yahoo needs to look into things before they send out violations.

I respectfully disagree with you.I am a Christian to and harbor no hate
for any gay or bisexuals but I can not tell someone that that lifestyle is
OK with God.I really feel sorry for their bondage and know away they
can be set free.I once sat with my best friends son who was gay and
we talked for some time one evening and he listened to me and when
we got through talking I told him if he wanted freedom from that lifestyle
all he had to do was believe in Jesus and let Him in his life to be the Lord over all and God would forgive him and set him free.Well #####
told me that he knew I was right but he was just having to much fun to
quit now.I pleaded with him but he left anyway.Two weeks later his mother called me and ask me to go to Atlanta Ga. that ##### had shot
himself in the head and was on life support.We got there and I went in with his mother to see him and the doctor .The doctor said he was brain dead.His mother had to give permission to shut off the machine. I know the pain that you feel when a friend does something like that.No it is not OK to live like that and God wan'ts to set you free.Because someday that second death is in the future.
