It seems to me that regardless of the yahoo rules it should be left up to the individual if their name, phone, address etc is given out.
I know that I, as an individual that partakes in free speech, and lives in a country known for their freedom, will not be told to whom I may give my personal information.
Those of you who spouted out the yahoo answers rules could have just told the poster of this question politely.......NO you may not.
Was there a need for being ugly and sanctimonious with your response?
But as I stated it is a free country and we have freedom of speech so your response was "yours". Just seems to me that it was considered very rude.
To the poster of the question.......yes, you may know my first name (Jo)
