1 In a large pan, combine water and sugar. Heat until the sugar just melts. Remove from heat and pour in lemon juice. Mix well and chill in refrigerator before serving. Garnish with lemon, lime or orange slices.

I use less water and sugar for a tarter pucker factor - but most people like the above. My kids make it by themselves all the time.
Nice alternatives - add some mashed strawberries or blueberries to it.

Passionate Lemonade
1 cup Sunkist® freshly squeezed lemon juice
3 cups water
½ cups sugar
4 cups Passion Fruit flavored tea, brewed*
4 Sunkist® fresh lemon twists
fresh mint sprigs
*If tea is pre-sweetened, amount of sugar may need to be decreased.
Old Fashioned Lemonade
6 Sunkist® lemons -juice
1 cup sugar, or to taste
4 cups cold water
1 Sunkist® lemon , cut into cartwheel slices
ice cubes
To make one portion:
In a large pitcher, combine the lemon juice and sugar; stir to dissolve the sugar. Add the remaining ingredients and blend well.
"Pink Lemonade" Variation:
Add a few drops of red food coloring or grenadine syrup.
Honeyed Lemonade Variation:
Substitute honey to taste for the sugar
Lemon- Limeade
1 cup freshly squeezed Sunkist® lemon juice
1 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
3 cups water
1 ¼ cups sugar
3 cups club soda or sparkling water, chilled
4 Sunkist® fresh lemon wedges
4 fresh lime slices, ¼" thick
To make one portion:
Combine Sunkist fresh-squeezed lemon juice, lime juice, water and sugar, and blend well to dissolve sugar. Chill.
Place ice cubes in tall glass and pour 10 oz. Sunkist lemon-lime juice mixture over ice.
Add 6 oz. chilled club soda and stir.
Garnish with 1 lemon wedge and 1 lime slice.
Ready to serve.

BLUSHING LEMONADE
2 c. sliced strawberries
1-2 tbsp. sugar, depending on sweetness of cherries
1 (6 oz.) can frozen lemonade
4 c. cold water
In small bowl mix berries and sugar. Add lemonade; puree in food processor or blender until smooth. Add water and mix until well blended. Add sugar if necessary. Serve over ice. 12 servings.

I like to use ReaLemon (I think that's the brand name) recipe. It's on the bottle, if you pick it up.
When we had a garage sale, we made almost as much off the cookie/brownie/lemonade stand as anything else. I made them as single servings, and plates. People would buy one cookie to munch on as they browsed, then ended up with a plateful.

If you use warm water and then add sugar the sugar will dissolve better then add lemon and some ice.
