Whole grains that contain at least 2g of fiber per 100 calories. Most fruits are high in fiber, root type vegetables and cabbage are all high in fiber. Lettuce actually has very little nutritional value, so stay away from it.

Apples, prunes, strawberries, raisins, raspberries and pears are some of the highest fiber fruits. Peas, cabbage, broccoli, sprouts, corn and parsnips are some of the highest fiber vegetables.

You should try to eat these foods raw, or lightly steamed, to preserve as much nutritional content as possible.

Omega 6 is more important than omega 3. There's plenty of ways to get omega 3, but too few people get enough omega 6 and the imbalance between the two can cause problems, if you get too much omega 3 and not enough 6, you run the risk for hemorrhagic stroke, bleeding disorders, high levels of LDL, reduced glycemic tolerence and suppression of immune responses. Omega 3 is not a cure-all, the same way vitamin E and A are not cure-alls. Also, omega 6 has been shown significantly better for your skin, kidneys and for preparation for childbirth. Omega 6 is found predominantly in whole grains, and this is the biggest reason low-carb/no carb diets are extremely unhealthy.

Omega 3 is found in some fish, flax, hemp, eggs and red meat depending on the diet of the animal. It is not usually found in whole grains.
